Covid Locktober

A series of sketches created during October 2020 for Inktober. They reflect on the realities of life during the pandemic.

Sutton Park

A series of semi- three dimensional ink and wash drawings of wooded areas within the park in Sutton Coldfield. Parts of the drawing push forward and out of the mount.

Centres

There are centres everywhere. Geographical centres, traditional centres and centres of population.

The aim is to find them and sketch them from life.

All profits from the sale of artwork on this site will be donated to the important Madagascar reforestation work organised by edenprojects.org

Their projects help to replace the tree cover lost in the country, to give employment to the desparately poor population, guide them toward more sustainable agricultural practices. As a result of this everyone on the planet benefits.

Donating is easy. Their website allows payment of one-off or regular donations, and they can be targeted at specific projects.

The things that we witnessed when we visited Madagascar in 2018 demonstrated the worth of the reforestation project.
